Ingredients:
- 1/4 Cup Cocoa Powder
- 4 Cups Chocolate Milk (premade with whole milk)
- 8 oz Cool Whip (frozen)
- 7 oz Sweet Condensed Milk
Instructions:
Mix all ingredients together in a blender. Freeze and stir every 30 minutes for 3 hours. Serve cold at desired consistency.
Tips:
- Freeze in 8 oz or 10 oz individual storage containers.
- Ice Cream Maker is not required.
- I only use the blue and white tub of Cool Whip, Kraft Heinz brand.
- I prefer Eagle Brand condensed milk largely for their pop off lid given the thickness. Otherwise Nestle brand.
- I prefer the cocoa quality of Ghirardelli vs Hershey or other brands.
- Last up to 3 months in the freezer.
- Rosenberg is a favorite childhood chocolate milk brand. As a child delivered weekly in glass bottles. Challenging to find but known to be carried at Acme, Giant and Walmart grocery stores.
- Shot of Kahula makes for a Happy Hour Cocktail Dessert.
- Substitute the chocolate milk for strawberry milk.
- The sweet condensed milk is important for the creaminess, sweetness and texture.
- You may make your own chocolate milk with syrup and whole milk. Consistency, creaminess, smoothness and taste may be altered.
- You may omit the cocoa and replace with 1 TBSP Vanilla Extract. Taste may be altered.
