I don’t particularly enjoy eating leftovers for two consecutive meals. However, I am mindful not to waste and prefer homemade vs. prepackaged. Once the leftovers have cooled, I label a Ziploc freezer bag and place the leftovers into it. Lay flat on a cookie sheet in the freezer until frozen. This helps to save on storage space.

From our favorite eateries, we have also ordered extra to go, especially with something like a good lemongrass soup. Freeze it and reheat it at a later time. Here’s a Lemon Grass Soup we bought from Tida Thai Cuisine (Norfolk, Virginia) during our vessel repositioning from Florida to Maryland and we truly enjoyed a reheat on a chilly rainy day while swinging on the hook.
