Boothbay Harbor Footbridge is roughly a six minute walk away. A historical, 1,000′ wooden pedestrian bridge that connects the East Side to the West Side. Crossing it brings you directly into downtown Boothbay Harbor’s main dining and shopping district.

Boothbay Harbor Region Trolley picks up directly at the adjacent property, Brown’s Wharf Inn & Marina. Complimentary trolley operates daily from roughly 10AM – 5PM, arriving at this particular stop at about 15 minutes past the hour daily. Trolley Stops.

Linear slips generally accommodate two vessels which means one vessel is pinned in. Stern in, we had a vessel docked off our bow. Extending our stay one night due to weather, the vessel in front of us had to relocate to the adjacent marina for a incoming reservation, which fortunately they were departing Friday morning, 7/24/26 but, we were pinned in and at their departure mercy.

Lyft and Uber technically operate here but finding an available driver on-demand can be incredibly difficult and unreliable. Reliable local alternatives: Bo Bo’s Coastal Cabs, operates daily from 9AM – 9PM but requires cash or local checks (no credit cards). Call 207-380-4182.

Marina staff is willing to drop you off and return pick up in a hour so that you may provision.

Rent a pedal assist bike for a 4.5 mile guided peninsula loop. The route winds around Lobster Cove, climbs Mt Pisgah for panoramic harbor views, and includes live woodcut print and glass-blowing demonstrations at working artisan studios.

Staff is willing to drop off/pick up to provision at Hannaford (Boothbay Harbor, ME). We actually preferred to take the complimentary trolley which drops off across the street from Meadow Mall and request a pick up.

Tender accessible Happy Hours are Boothbay Lobster Wharf (Boothbay, ME) which hosts live music and a daily 3PM – 5PM happy hour and the nearby docks at Mine Oyster (Boothbay, ME).

Upon our arrival on Monday, 7/20/26 The Whale’s Tale & Seafarer’s Pub was closed due to Employee Appreciation Day.
