2026 Voyages

Belfast, ME to St George, ME

Tuesday, August 18, 2026

Departure: Belfast Marina (Belfast, ME) 8:30AM

Special Comments:

  • Well, being that we were sandwiched in and limited by our draft to move forward the only option we had was reverse which was also restricted with the mega yacht off our stern. Keeping the spring line on, Jacques had to pivot our bow towards the dock which felt more like onto the dock while pushing out our stern. Even the hired Captain on the mega yacht seemed nervous as he came out StupidVise. We did it, though! Very stressful, I would have much preferred being told there’s no availability then being sandwiched in like that.
  • Nice scenic cruise until we hit a dense patch fog around noon. Two pairs of eyes required!
  • Focused on the fog, Jacques noticed the engine room wasn’t cooling as it likes, but investigating would be once anchored between the fog, boats, and crab pots.
  • Once anchored, he was able to detect the issue, a corroded fuse. Replaced and fixed.
