2026 Voyages

St George, ME to Harpswell, ME

Wednesday, August 19, 2026

Departure: Burnt Island (St George, ME) 9:30PM (N43°52.335′ W69°17.449′)

Special Comments:

  • Up at 4AM, I had the opportunity to watch the sunrise masterpiece. Gorgeous!
  • Commercial lobster boat was here early this morning lifting and dropping his ports.
  • OMG, most of the cruise has been in foggy. I hate cruising in foggy conditions. Fog horn blowing every 2 minutes causes me anxiety and stress! Jacques doesn’t seem phased by it at all. Visibility 1/4 – 1/2NM most of the time and on occasion 1 -3NM. It was stressful!!! As for myself my nerves were shot causing nauseous that I actually had to put on my SeaBands. Upon our arrival Jacques submitted a request to extend our stay as a repeat condition forecasted for tomorrow too.
  • Delicious dinner onboard. Got to use our recently purchased Presto Mini Griddle. We have a larger one which we love but, it’s a overkill for cooking eggs. Worked great for Jacques hangar steak.
  • We called it a early night.

Arrival: Dolphin Marina & Restaurant (Harpswell, ME) 3:30PM

Next Stop: Little Harbor Anchorage (New Castle, NH) (Friday, 8/21/26)

Moored: Dolphin Marina & Restaurant (Harpswell, ME) Mooring Ball#61

Special Comments:

  • YUM, our blueberry muffin breakfast arrived like clockwork. I actually slept in until 9AM.
  • We were going to anchor around Little Harbor (New Castle, NH) but, Jacques needed a Amazon delivery so we began searching for marinas but, those were full for the weekend due to a Regatta. So, gears shifted to Portland, ME.

Next Stop: Fore Points Marina (Portland, ME) (Friday, 8/21/26)
