Special Comments:

  • Well, I slept like a baby even though Jacques does not. He was up at 3AM checking on things in the pilothouse.
  • By the time we were sipping our morning coffee the locals were out claiming their favorite fishing spots. Upon our departure a fellow was proudly displaying his 15″ fish.
  • Gosh, there’s no shortage of jellyfish at anchorage.
  • Nice short cruise.
  • Fantastic to have leftovers for lunch, panchetta spaghetti and fresh Caesar salad.
  • WOWser, it’s H-O-T outside, 88°F. Appears a cold front is pushing through and may keep us here until Tuesday, 10/20/26 or Wednesday, 10/21/26. Currently, booked until Monday, 10/19/26.
  • Jacques is giving our salty girl a well deserved bath.
  • Charcuterie board for dinner.

Special Comments:

  • We slept like babies until 8AM.
  • Nice relaxing day onboard. My legs didn’t have walking into town, not even with compression stockings. Also hot, 80F.
  • Severe Weather Alert from tomorrow, 10/17/26 through Monday, 10/19/26 with northerly winds 30KN – 40KN with occasional gusts up to 45KN and seas 7′ – 12′. So, we’ll be putting out some extra lines and already mentioned to the office we likely won’t depart on Monday, 10/19/26 but rather on Wednesday morning, 10/21/26.
  • With some additional vessels seeking refuge the marina is full.
  • Finally, still long enough to receive our mail.
  • Jacques met the owner of M/V Willin who claims this is a good place to ride out the weather. Although, depending on the wind direction it can get pitchy.
