Comments: Abel’s Lobster Pound Restaurant onsite dining does not take reservations. Seasonally open from mid May – late October and only open weekdays, Monday-Friday from 12PM – 9PM with closure from 2:30PM – 4:30PM.

Centrally located offers easy access to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Northeast Harbor, and Southwest Harbor, ME.

Complimentary Island Explorer Bus does not drop off directly at the marina’s driveway, you can catch Route 11 (the Southwest Harbor/Somesville loop) along Route 198 (Sound Drive) just a short walk up Abel’s Lane.

Limited number of mooring balls and slips are reserved for transient guests throughout the season. Advance reservations are strongly encouraged.

Multiple VHF hails without a response resulted in phone dialing the office for mooring ball assignment. Apologetic as the radio wasn’t on.
