Pros: Hold, Location, Low Weekday Traffic, Mud Bottom (Easy to Clean), Near Channel, Protection, Scenic, Tender Accessible, View, Water Depth, & Wind Protection

Cons: Few Boats Will Fit

Stay Again: Yes

Comments: We were initially going to anchor at Smith Creek, a 35.5​ mile​s​ long stream​, North Fork of the Shenandoah River in the Shenandoah Valley​, V​A.

However, before our morning departure on Monday, 9/29/25 from Deltaville Boatyard (Deltaville, VA) we altered course while monitoring Hurricane Humberto & Tropical Storm Imelda opted to get further north considering the known calm conditions.
