While we are just recording our Still Pond, MD Anchorage stay, we have anchored here for many years throughout our Upper Chesapeake Bay, MD boating years. It remains one of our favorite places! With our past vessels we were able to drop our anchor with the stern towards the beach area. Popular spot on holidays and weekends. For a quieter anchorage we would go to Still Pond Creek, MD. Sadly, to narrow of a channel and shallow draft for this vessel. However, we still enjoy dropping our tender and visiting Churn Creek, MD and Still Pond Creek, MD. Current at Churn Creek, MD entrance/exit makes for raft float fun.
