Home Fries while swinging on the hook tastes so good for breakfast!
Ingredients:
- Adobo Seasoning (Red Top)
- 1 Goya Sazon Packet
- Knorr Aromat Seasoning
- 1 TSP Epic Pork Fat
- 3 Russet Potatoes
Clean russet potatoes. Slice potatoes. Place potatoes in a bowl and run clean water over them until water is clean. Meanwhile, on medium to low heat in a sauté pan melt pork fat. Add sliced potatoes, sazon and sprinkle with both seasonings.
Tips
- Add extra potatos for your breakfast party.
- Compliments creamed chipped beef too.
- Depending on thickness and size of potatoes allow 30 – 45 minutes for cooking time.
- Do not add any additional salt as the seasonings have more than enough.
- From time to time, I boil whole potatoes with skins on and transport them to the boat, which cuts down on cooking time onboard. Just don’t fully cook them. I usually do 30 – 45 minutes depending on their size and how many are being boiled.
- Leftover bacon grease makes a great substitute.
- Leftovers reheat well.
- We have also substituted with lard and manteca brands. Enhances the taste instead of using butter or margarine.
