Comments: Watch for Shoaling. After 24 hours of a ocean crossing, we preferred to drop anchor with a projected late arrival (12:30PM).

If you prefer to be closer to downtown area (approximately 1 mile south), anchor at Taylor Creek area instead. Otherwise, tender accessible, go Grayden Paul Park, located at 700 Front Street, directly across from Town Hall. Features an elevated dock and a floating dinghy dock, which is the main access point.
Nearest anchorage dining option tender accessible, is City Kitchen conveniently located onsite of the Town Creek Marina (Beaufort, NC), second floor. Open Tuesday – Saturday for dinner. Closed on Sundays, Mondays, and including holidays. New American cuisine with Caribbean, Asian, and Southern influences. Notable dishes include West Indian-style fish cakes, duck bolognese, and sticky toffee pudding. Casual atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Seasonal Tiki Bar and offers some of the best sunset views. Reservations required and limited to parties of four.
