Books via Dockwa.

Keep fenders deployed slightly higher than usual to protect your hull from rolling due to commercial fishing boats and the local tour vessels.

Iconic Atlantic City Boardwalk and beach are not safely reachable on foot.

Jitney Surfer is an inexpensive shuttle services with stops throughout Atlantic City and stops right at the Golden Nugget.

Navigating the Golden Nugget property requires passage through the smokey casino areas. We’re not gamblers and there appears no way not to be subject to all the nasty cigarette smoke.

Neighboring casino resorts within a 10 – 15 minute walk are the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa and Harrah’s Atlantic City.

Slip assignment is known to change, presumably because vessels arrive and take any open slip without notifying the marina office for dining/casino. Upon our arrival, we were assigned a slip to only find a center console occupying it. Fortunately, they were boarding (returning) and quickly moved.

To date, regardless to our slip assigned we’re stern in.

Tidal current ripping past the marina entrance and under the nearby bridges can be incredibly strong, especially during a max ebb tide. Try to time your arrival close to slack water to avoid getting pushed toward the bulkheads.

We did not use their Bathrooms, Complimentary WiFi, or Laundry. Fellow slip holders advised their Rated #1 in the region, personally speaking were not sure as to why but ok. Combined with a 3 – 4 year seasonal slip waiting list. Really?!?

Wanting to utilize the oil disposal upon inquiry we learned it’s near Dock A but the dock attendant wasn’t sure if it needed a code or key (required neither). Metal foldable dock carts are located in the office. Apparently, even though the docks are gated folks weren’t returning them from their vehicle drop off/pick up.

Return stay from Saturday, 7/26/25 – Monday, 7/28/25 at Slip E35.

Return stay from Wednesday, 6/10/26 – Monday, 6/15/26 at Slip E23.

Comments: We received notification of a package that arrived on Friday, 6/12/26 at 1:37PM, as of Monday, 6/15/26 10:37AM it’s still MIA. Countless trips to the Marina Office, not one soul was helpful! What we heard…packages are received within the hour of delivery – come back, oh we don’t have access to that building, we don’t know who to call, we don’t have a Directory, come back tomorrow – the DockMaster will be here (he’s MIA since leaving early on Friday too), oh the Annex is closed today – it’s Sunday, and I don’t know how to call the casino. Honestly, we can’t make this crap up!!!

FYI…the annex is really the post office. Which is not within walking distance. Mail/packages are picked up regularly.

Victoria from the Golden Nugget Front Desk did at least make efforts to help us. More importantly, knew what a Directory and phone were. Going above what the marina dock hands, harbormaster, or even manager did for us. Called the representative retrieving the annex mail with plea to search for our package. Upon arrival, intercepted the package and immediately called Jacques mobile as to where and meet her to pick it up. Thank you, Victoria!

Bottom line, avoid receiving mail packages here!
